Sub-Session on People-to-People Exchange of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum
On July 3, 2023, the Forum on “Heralding a New Chapter for Cultural Exchange Under the Belt and Road Initiative” (part of the Maritime Silk Road International Documentary Film Festival) and Sub-Session on People-to-People Exchange of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum concluded in Quanzhou, Fujian. The guests exchanged views on three topics: Enhancing China’s Cultural Confidence and Extending Its International Discourse Reach Under the Belt and Road Initiative, A New Chapter of Cultural Exchange and Track II Diplomacy for Countries Along the Belt and Road in the Era of “Internet Plus,” and Cooperation in Education and Cultural Industries Under the Belt and Road Initiative.
Sub-Session on Economy and Technology of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum
On September 7, 2023, the Sub-Session on Economy and Technology of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum, themed “Multilateral Cooperation in the Energy Sector,” took place in Taiyuan, Shanxi. Guided by four shared principles—multilateral cooperation, ESG guidance, green win-win development, and smart low-carbon solution—participants exchanged views on two topics: “New Trends in International Energy Security and Multilateral Cooperation” and “Advancements in Carbon Trading and ESG Assessment System.”
Sub-Session on Central Asia of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Global Conference on the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and Sub-Session on Central Asia of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum was held at Nazarbayev University in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on September 7, 2023. The event was jointly organized by China Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and China Studies Center of Kazakhstan and strongly endorsed by the Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan.
Sub-Session on International Relations of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum
On September 12, 2023, the Sub-Session on International Relations of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum was held in Beijing. Participants conducted in-depth discussions on the theme, "Navigating the Dynamic International Landscape: Challenges and Opportunities in the Evolving Global Order."
Sub-Session on Talent Integration of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum
On October 9, 2023, the Sub-Session on Talent Integration of the 7th Taihe Civilizations Forum, organized by Taihe Institute and the Hong Kong Quality and Talent Migrants Association, was held at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong. Experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs gathered to discuss topics including international talent competition, national talent acquisition strategy, talent collaboration in the Greater Bay Area, and talent development in Hong Kong.
